Please read these terms carefully before booking your vehicle with Tanvir Car Rental.

1. Definitions
Company: Tanvir Car Rental
Customer / Renter: The person in whose name the booking is made and who signs the rental agreement.
Driver: The person driving the vehicle (may be the renter or a designated driver).
Vehicle: Any car or other vehicle rented from Tanvir Car Rental.
Rental Period: The period between vehicle pick-up and vehicle return as indicated in the rental agreement.
2. Booking & Payment
- A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the required advance payment or deposit and you receive a written confirmation from us.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.
- Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, mobile payment or other methods as agreed.
- Rates may vary based on vehicle type, rental duration, mileage, fuel policy, driver requirement and seasonal demand.
- Additional charges such as overtime, tolls, parking fees and extra mileage must be paid at the end of the trip or as agreed.
3. Eligibility & Driver Requirements (Self-Drive)
- Minimum age of renter/driver: 21–25 years (as per company policy).
- Driver must hold a valid driving licence for at least the minimum period required by law.
- International renters must provide passport, international driving permit (if required) and local contact details.
- The renter/driver must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any impairing substance.
4. Documents Required
You may be required to provide copies for verification and security purposes:
- National ID / Passport
- Valid driving licence (for self-drive)
- Local address and contact number
- Emergency contact person and number
5. Security Deposit (Self-Drive)
- A refundable security deposit is required prior to vehicle handover.
- The deposit may be used to cover traffic fines, tolls, fuel shortage, damage not covered by insurance and cleaning charges.
- The balance of the deposit (if any) will be refunded after full inspection of the vehicle and clearance of any pending payments or fines.
6. Vehicle Collection & Return
- The vehicle will be provided at the agreed time and location.
- The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, time and location in the same condition (normal wear and tear excepted).
- Late returns may incur extra hourly charges or an additional day’s rental.
- Rental extensions are subject to approval, availability and updated pricing.
7. Fuel Policy
- The fuel policy (Full-to-Full or Same-Level) will be specified at the time of booking.
- If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at handover, the difference plus a service fee may be charged.
- Fuel costs during the trip are the renter’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Use of the Vehicle
- The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes.
- The vehicle must not be used for racing, speed testing, towing, transporting illegal goods or unsafe off-road driving.
- Unauthorized persons are not allowed to drive the vehicle.
- All traffic laws, speed limits, parking rules and local regulations must be followed.
9. Traffic Violations, Fines & Tolls
- All traffic fines, parking tickets, toll charges and penalties incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
- Fines received after the rental may be deducted from the deposit or invoiced to the renter along with a service fee.
10. Accidents, Damage & Theft
- In case of accident, damage, theft or loss, you must inform Tanvir Car Rental immediately and notify the police if required.
- You must not admit liability or settle claims without our approval.
- The renter may be liable for the insurance excess/deductible and any damage or loss not covered by insurance.
- Failure to follow reporting procedures may result in full liability for damages.
11. Insurance & Liability
- Vehicles may be covered by third-party or comprehensive insurance as per local regulations.
- Insurance coverage is subject to the insurer’s terms, conditions and exclusions.
- The renter is responsible for damage caused by reckless driving, intoxication, unauthorized drivers or illegal activities.
- Tanvir Car Rental is not liable for loss of personal items, indirect or consequential losses such as missed flights or business losses.
12. Vehicle Condition & Cleanliness
- The vehicle is delivered in a clean and roadworthy condition. Any visible damage should be reported at handover.
- An inspection checklist may be signed at vehicle pick-up and return.
- Excessive dirt, stains, pet hair or smoking inside the vehicle may incur a cleaning fee.
13. Personal Belongings
- Tanvir Car Rental is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle during or after the rental.
- Please remove all belongings before returning the vehicle.
14. Cancellation & No-Show
- Free cancellation and any applicable charges will be as per the company’s current policy at the time of booking.
- No-show without prior notice may result in loss of deposit or prepayment.
- We may cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, with a refund of any advance or an alternative vehicle where possible.
15. Chauffeur-Driven Service
- Company-provided drivers will operate the vehicle safely and professionally.
- The renter must not ask the driver to break traffic rules or drive unsafely.
- For long trips, meal and rest breaks for the driver must be respected, and accommodation may be required for out-of-town journeys.
16. Maintenance & Breakdowns
- In case of mechanical breakdown not caused by misuse, contact us immediately.
- Do not carry out major repairs without approval.
- Assistance or a replacement vehicle may be provided subject to availability and distance.
17. Privacy & Data
We collect and store personal information for booking management, legal compliance and security. Data may be shared with law enforcement or insurance partners when required but will not be sold to third parties.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction where the rental takes place. Disputes should first be resolved amicably, failing which they will be handled by the appropriate courts or authorities.
19. Amendments
Tanvir Car Rental may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version valid for your booking is the one in effect on the date of confirmation.
